I’m Sarah, I’m 28, I’m originally from Glasgow and now I work in London as Creative Content Producer for The Cambridge Satchel Company.
So, as I said, my parents named me Sarah (which means Princess by the by, which I secretly kind of love) but when I say my name in a Glaswegian accent, it sounds a lot like Cedar. For my first whole week at university, people genuinely thought that was my name. And then it stuck. My uni friends all still call me Ceds, Little Ceds or Cedar The Scot and it reminds me of being 17, moving away from being home and studying drama surrounded by the best people I know. Hence the name of my blog.
The bio for one of my favourite blogs Messy Nessy says: “As you might have guessed, my life tends to get a little messy but I like to think it’s still chic – like a Jean-Luc Godard film or something.” I whole heartedly agree and I’d probably use a similar sentiment to describe my style. I really do believe in style over fashion and I like to dress up depending on how I’m feeling or how I want to feel. I love berets, A-line skirts and striped tops, anything that makes me feel a little more French or a little bit closer to being Jane Birkin is GREAT.
